5T/10T Electric Winch

 

This heavy-duty 5 ton electric winch is a high-performance industrial pulling & lifting equipment, widely applied in construction sites, shipyards, mine transportation, bridge engineering, warehouse cargo handling and offshore slipway traction. As shown in the picture, the whole machine adopts integrated bright blue painted steel base, equipped with powerful main driving motor, reliable hydraulic brake assembly, large-capacity wire rope drum and an independent white electrical control box mounted on the right side of the winch.

What is the white box on the right side?

The white cabinet on the right of the motor is the electrical control box (control cabinet). It is the central operation and protection unit of the 5T electric winch, internally equipped with contactors, overload protection switches, forward/reverse control circuits, emergency stop modules and wiring terminals. Operators can connect external control buttons or remote controllers to realize lifting, lowering, pause and emergency stop functions. Meanwhile, it provides overload, short-circuit and overcurrent protection to avoid motor burnout and equipment damage during overload operation, greatly improving operation safety.

 

 

1. Main Drive Motor: High-efficiency blue three-phase asynchronous motor, stable output torque, low noise, strong continuous working capacity, suitable for long-time industrial operation.

2. Hydraulic Brake System (Left Side Device): Spring hydraulic integrated brake. It automatically locks the drum once power cuts off to prevent load slipping, effectively avoiding falling safety accidents; the braking force is adjustable to match 5-ton rated load.

3. Large Wire Rope Drum: Thickened steel reel with multi-layer winding space, matched with high-tensile galvanized steel wire rope. The rope surface is smooth and wear-resistant, with strong tensile strength, anti-rust and long service life.

4. Gear Reducer: Heavy-duty hard tooth surface reduction gearbox inside the rack, large transmission ratio, stable power transmission, low failure rate under heavy load traction.

5. Integrated Steel Base: Welded thick steel frame, high structural rigidity, anti-vibration during operation, convenient for fixed installation on ground, ships or engineering platforms.

6. Independent Electrical Control Box (White Cabinet on Right): Central electrical protection & control unit, supporting wired button control and optional wireless remote control, with complete safety protection circuits.

Q1: What is the white box on the right of the winch used for?

A1: It is an independent electrical control box, the core electrical control and protection component of the winch. It integrates forward/reverse control circuit, overload protection, short-circuit protection and emergency stop wiring terminals. It can connect control buttons to control lifting and lowering, and cut off power automatically under abnormal current to protect the motor and equipment, improving operation safety.

Q5: What if I need a longer steel wire rope?

A5: We provide customized wire rope length according to your actual working stroke demand. The large-capacity drum of this 5T winch can wind enough long wire rope without extrusion deformation.

Q6: Does this winch support explosion-proof transformation for underground mine use?

A6: Yes. We can configure explosion-proof motor and explosion-proof electrical control box (replace the standard white cabinet with explosion-proof electrical box) to meet underground coal mine, chemical plant and other flammable & explosive working environments.

Q7: How to maintain the white electrical control box daily?

A7: Keep the control box dry and avoid long-term exposure to heavy rain or seawater splash; regularly check the wiring terminals for looseness; do not open the cabinet cover during operation; cut off the main power before maintenance to prevent electric shock hazards.

Q8: What's the difference between slow-speed and fast-speed 5T electric winch?
