Complete Set of Friction Winches and Unreelers Delivered to South Korea for Suspension Bridge Construction

Jan 14, 2026

A full set of customized friction winches and supporting unreelers has been fully packaged and successfully delivered to South Korea, with the entire equipment consignment shipped via six standard shipping containers. The delivered batch includes four complete sets, covering eight units of equipment in total, which are professionally customized and optimized for core construction procedures of large-scale suspension bridge projects, especially for main cable unwinding, laying, tensioning and traction operations. Tailored to adapt to the harsh and complex working conditions of bridge engineering, the equipment adopts mature friction transmission technology, with stable power output, reliable load-bearing performance and high construction accuracy, fully complying with South Korea's local bridge construction industry standards and engineering technical specifications.

This matched winch and unreeler system is equipped with a flexible and intelligent synchronous control system, realizing diverse and flexible operation modes to meet different construction demands. Each single unit can operate independently for small-scale and fine construction work. Meanwhile, the equipment supports synchronous linkage operation of two sets or four sets of devices simultaneously. The multi-group linkage mode can achieve precise collaborative traction and uniform cable tension control, effectively avoiding cable deviation and stress imbalance during construction. It greatly improves the overall construction efficiency, operational stability and construction safety of suspension bridge main cable erection, providing solid and reliable mechanical support for the smooth progress of local key bridge engineering projects.
