KPD Rail Transfer Cart

 

    The KPD series rail transfer trolley is a cable-free low-voltage rail-powered transport vehicle engineered for factory material conveyance. Instead of trailing cumbersome power cables during movement, this trolley adopts the laid metal rails as its conductive power medium. A matching step-down transformer is configured to convert the standard 380V industrial alternating current into safe low voltage of either 24V or 36V, which is then transmitted to the copper conductive rails laid alongside the running track. Conductive sliding assemblies mounted on the trolley pick up this low-voltage current from the rails, feeding it into an onboard boosting transformer. The unit will step the voltage back up to 380V to supply the driving motor and sustain normal trolley travel.

    This complete lineup of low-voltage electric rail flatbeds falls into two distinct categories based on power supply modes: single-phase low-voltage power supply type and three-phase low-voltage power supply type, available to match different workshop power distribution layouts and load transport requirements.

 

 

A step-down transformer reduces three-phase 380V AC to a safe voltage of 36V, which is then connected to three rails. The current collector on the electric transfer trolley draws the 36V current into the vehicle, where an onboard step-up transformer elevates it back to 380V to power the traction motor. The control system manages the transfer trolley's start, stop, forward, and reverse movements.

This series of vehicles can operate on S-shaped and curved tracks, offering high safety performance and flexibility during use. However, the rails require insulation treatment, and track laying demands high precision. For runs exceeding 70 meters, additional transformers are needed to compensate for voltage drop.

Designed for heavy-duty, high-frequency applications, this electric transfer trolley series meets full automation requirements.

 

 

A transformer steps down 380V AC to 36V AC, which is supplied to two rails. The current collector on the transfer trolley channels the 36V AC power into the onboard electrical cabinet. The control system governs motor start/stop, forward/reverse motion, and speed regulation.

This series is suitable for S-shaped tracks, curved tracks, and high-temperature environments. A PLC system can be added for full automated control.

Key features include high safety, strong maneuverability, high-frequency operation, long service life, and unlimited travel distance.

Track laying requires stringent standards (insulation treatment). For distances over 80 meters, additional transformers must be installed to compensate for rail voltage drop.
